Last update was the final straw.
Last week there was an update that just made my least favorite phone, ever, even worse.

I bought my OnePlus for the camera...which,yes, is awesome. The phone was $1300 which is the only reason I still own it; and it still works. Let's look at my pros/cons:

Pros: Gorgeous blue color
Warp charging is great! But the cord is so short it makes it difficult to use while you're charging it.
Battery has good use time.
Good sound

Cons: the first night I realized that there is no way to set the screensaver to show the time. So right out of chute I had to buy an alarm clock.
The camera on the back is so large and extends down the back so far that, if you want to use a popsocket, it has to set so far down on the back that it makes the center of gravity so low...to me it makes the phone top-heavy in your hand. But if you don't use a popsocket touching the bezzeled sides messes up the response of the screen.

I've never had a phone that overheats and shuts down literally every time I take it outside in the summer. I have a pool and I have to make my phone its own little tent on the side table or it continually overheats and shut down.

The last system update was the last straw to me. No matter how I adjust the setting the Do Not Disturb function no longer works. So, I either have to shut my phone off at night or listen to notifications pinging all night.

Additionally since the update, the thumb print access has disappeared from the closed screen. So now you have to push a button to wake the phone up to open it.

It theory this phone has a lot of wonderful bells and whistles but, there are serious use issues before you can even get to the 'fancy' stuff

Very bad services
Very bad services. Ordered one phone nonline in exchange of other 1 plus but the courier person rejected it. Same phone got accepted at their one plus store for same amount. On top of that even after 2 weeks they are yet to refund the money back for the phone i ordered online.

Never more OnePlus
I got OnePlus 8T almost 2 years ago, I waited and withstood it this long, but I finally can't endure it anymore. It will be my first and LAST OnePlus phone.
I almost have no complaints about the device itself, but OnePlus Apps are annoying, their whole system is annoying (and you can't get rid of it). I thought I was buying an Android phone, so that I could choose what apps to use, but OnePlus preinstalled apps keep getting in the way. If I wanted a phonemaker to decide what app I should use, I would go for an iphone, thank you very much. The latest update removed some of my apps from home screen, like weather app (because OnePlus has it's own, their system keeps ignoring your choice and rubs their apps into your face), modified settings of my watch (I had few time zones displayed, now it's gone), and made some other display and styling choices without asking me.
If you want a normal Android phone, look elsewhere.

NEVER BUY ONE PLUS TV
Bought it before 8 months.
Had to call the service person because the remote was not working and second time because there was a problem with the google assistant.
Now on 5th July 2022 the display of this TV started malfunctioning. After setting a complain there is till date no reply from the company.
The customer service people just keep on increasing the time limit from 3 days to 5 to 10 and now 15-20 days even after it still being in the guarantee period but still my TV has not started .
Very very poor customer service after sales ,no reply even after 30mins of call, bad quality of speaker without any proper sound effects, very slow many more.
To me it seems like the company is using 2nd hand parts.
If any other person plans to buy one plus TV , get ready for the future trouble.
BIG NAME ,POOR RESULTS AND POOR SERVICE
DON'T GO FOR THIS COMPANY'S TV

what record are we going for?
i bought the one Ear buds pro and didn't use them for more than 15 mins. in those 15 min the plastic got scratched and i couldn't return them, the quality of the product is sad. Now im just waiting for the product to return to me! its nearly been 2 month since i started the progress what record are we going for? are we trying to see how long it will take u guys to actually sent it back or? did u lose the product? i loved oneplus but the service is so bad i started 3 cases cuz the support KEEPS CLOSING THEM for no reason at all.

Makes well priced phones however…
Makes well priced phones however customer service is lacking.
Phone camera is scratched up so it can't take clear photos, made a service request and since it's less than a year old it's still under warranty and so I sent it in to get repaired, got sent back 10 days later with every wiped but no camera fixed. Now I'm left with a damaged camera and a phone I have to setup again.
Wasted time and no tracking updates when I sent my phone in through the royal mail cashing even more stress, chatting with customer service has also been pointless.

I've been a loyal customer of OnePlus
I've been a loyal customer of OnePlus. I bought OnePlus One, when it was first launched in India via the invite-only program. And decided to stick with the brand for almost a decade now.

And now, it has lost its charm. The team doesn't care about its customers.

I've been trying to buy the new OnePlus Nord 2T after researching about it and despite multiple attempts, for 4 consecutive days, during my busy schedule, trying to purchase via OnePlus store app, I couldn't buy it.

I'd availed the exchange bonus, but the checkout failed not Once, but 6+ times. In the end, the company rolled back the exchange bonus and now I've to shell out more only because the app had bugs.

The customer care team provided no solution. Imagine if buying is so difficult, how would after sales service look like!

Last purchase from OnePlus
I have been buying OnePlus phones since 2014-2015 and there's always been minor bugs but nothing major. However, as the phones get newer the bugs seems to get worse. I bought a new OnePlus 9 Pro and it's incredibly buggy to the point where even normal cell phone functions (i.e. phone calls, voicemail, messaging, and photos) all have some type of negative issue. The customer support team told me they'd send me some materials and instructions so I can mail the phone back and get it fixed or possibly get a new one free of charge... that was back in March and still waiting for the resolution.

REFUND struggle continues with One Plus
Highly disappointed, pathetic company to deal with, NONE of the processes are in place, Customer care sucks, escalations don't work, and leadership doesn't care about customers.

No positive response/closure to my REFUND complaint as below (sent almost a month ago), now pending for 2 months +. ========================================Dear OnePlus Leadership Team,
It has been an extremely disappointing experience so far with OnePlus and I don't understand why I have been made to wait for my REFUND for over a month now.

I would like to highlight here as below:
I purchased OnePlus 10R mobile phone on 4th May 2022. Your executive came for delivery on 6th May 2022, I rejected it and returned the phone immediately on the same day.
Since then I would have made almost 10~15 follow-up calls for REFUND credit. Why your Customer Care, Escalation team, and back-end teams are NOT able to REFUND my money in a reasonable time period (it should be 3~7 days at max).
On 26th May 2022, you credited my account for the phone value of INR 42,999. Why ONLY partial resolution for this amount?
Balance INR 4,999 is still pending for over a month now.
What is so time-consuming process that you follow and why there is the absence of CUSTOMER CARE who doesn't bother to respond to my calls and emails?
I fail to understand why can't you follow the same process for the balance amount REFUND as Ms. Reshma requested me to provide my account details.
The question is, I made the payment in a single transaction, why you couldn't refund me in a single transaction? You refunded me a partial amount i.e. you have my account/Credit Card details, why do you need it again?
Could you respond and explain why the OnePlus team doesn't have the capability to resolve the customer's simple complaints.

Also, suggest you take appropriate action for inaction by involved team members as this delay is unacceptable.

If such is an experience, it will be difficult for you to survive in such a highly demanding mobile industry. I have been a OnePlus customer for over 3~4 years now and have started thinking about whether it is worth continuing with OnePlus due to its questionable ability to resolve customers' complaints.

Trust that this will be my LAST follow-up for this complaint.

Bad service of OnePlus
I was ordering one plus Nord 2T 5G yesterday.
Before this I was using one plus bullet wireless earphone by which I got impressed to the company but today when I sent the earphone for the service they denied saying that it cannot be repaired.
They even can't replace with the new one.
So I decided to cancel ordering mobile phone due to this poor service.

Thanks one plus for giving this kind of service and saving my money.

Terrible company. OnePlus came out with an update that completely bugged out my phone. Finger print scanner won't work, notification bar won't pull down, my text messages don't come through, ect.. I tried calling support and ended up have to reach out multiple times as I was being told completely different things each time. Finally they told me I would have to send in my device for over a week to be repair no offer of a replacement device as I need a phone for work and cannot be without one for over a week. They told me there was nothing they could do to make things right after their update put a bug into my system. Absolutely terrible customer service and a terrible way to treat customers.
